Gift Horse Farm was established in September of 2007 by Melissa Bowsher to provide a facility that best suits the horse and provides an excellent conditioning facility.
We provide boarding, sales, conditioning, lay-up, and rehabilitation services. With qualified staff we are able to provide your horse with top-level care to ensure a happy and healthy horse.
Gift Horse Farm is located in Chardon, Ohio, just over 20 minutes from Chagrin Valley Farms and only 45 minutes from Cleveland. The main barn was built and the small barn was renovated in 2007 and the outdoor arena was added in 2009. The barn was custom built to ensure a healthy environment for the horses and a relaxed and efficient atmosphere for their riders and owners.

Melissa Bowsher-Cevario
Melissa graduated from Texas A&M with a Master's in Agriculture. After moving to Wellington for three years and competing in the Amateur jumpers, she decided to relocate to Ohio where she built Gift Horse Farm. Melissa imports her sale horses from VDL Stud in The Netherlands, as she has done for the last ten years. She continues to show her horse Soleil, in the Adult Amateur jumper division.
